Bringing a new baby into the world is one of the most exciting and transformative experiences you’ll ever have. As you prepare for this new chapter, creating a baby registry is one of the first and most essential steps. A well-organized baby registry ensures that you have everything you need when your little one arrives, making the transition into parenthood as smooth as possible.

I found myself stressing over this not knowing what to put on my registry. All the suggestions just overwhelmed me.
I did not know where to begin. So, I wanted to help make the process more seamless for you.

In this guide, I will provide all the items that I bought and loved so that you can start creating your own registry. Just click on the link and add it to your registry!

Whether you’re expecting your first baby or adding another bundle of joy to your family, I hope this list will help you prepare for your baby’s arrival.

Baby Registry

This was my personal registry and I can say I used EVERYTHING!

Nursing Stuff

If you are planning on nursing/pumping for your baby, you will need a good bit of stuff. So, I wanted to start off with these items first because you will be using them from the start.

  • Boppy Pillow
This was such a helpful item to have during those long feeds. It provides support for baby and also relief for your arms. This is perfect for both nursing and bottle feeds. We used this so much when my son was little. Also, when family came to visit, this was the first thing I would grab!
  • Haakaa
I couldn’t recommend this enough with nursing. When baby is nursing on one side, you can place the haakaa on the other to catch the let-down. This is such an amazing item to use when you want to build up a freezer stash.
  • Haaka Nipple Shields
In the beginning, nursing can be quite painful. These nipple shields provide a protective layer that can bring a lot of relief!
  • Nipple Cream
Hands down the best nipple cream. Safe for baby and is very effective to help with sore nipples.
  • Silver Nursing Cups (Silverlette)
If I had to buy one thing for a breastfeeding/pumping mama, this would be on my top 5 list. These cups paired with the nipple cream was my saving grace.
  • Nursing Bra
Perfect nursing bras that provide a lot of support. The simple click and flap allows easy access for feeds. I still wear these bras and they have held up very well.
  • Nursing Pads
A MUST! You never know when you are going to start leaking. These were so great, especially towards the beginning. They are machine washable and have held up very well. I still use them from time to time.
  • Nursing Cover
This is perfect for on the go feeds. The linen material is light and breathable. Also is very cute and matches a variety of outfits.
  • Bottles
My baby never took a bottle, but these are the ones I purchased before he was born. Reviews say it is a great bottle for moms who nurse and pump.
Speaking of pumping, I never personally used this, but the Momcozy hands free breast pump was recommended to me.

Sleeping Stuff

As you know sleeping equipment is a must from day one.

  • Baby Bassinet
This Newton bassinet was wonderful. My baby has outgrown it at this point, but it was such a great investment that I plan to use for all my babies. It fits perfectly up against the bed with a secure strap that keeps the bassinet from moving. The fold down flap also allows easy access to baby during the night.
  • Swaddle
My baby was a very active sleeper and would wake himself up a lot. I tried a lot of different swaddles, and this helped him sleep long stretches.
  • Bassinet Sheets
The Newton bassinet sheets are 100% muslin cotton and breathable!
  • Sound Machine
The Hatch sound machine is the best! Connects to your phone and comes with my different sounds and lights.
  • Crib
I LOVE my baby’s crib. It is the perfect size and looks so cute in his room. Like many cribs, this transforms into a toddler bed.
  • Crib Mattress
The Newton mattress is hands down the best. It is known for its breathable features which gives new parents peace of mind. My baby has always slept so well and loves his crib. This mattress fits perfectly on the crib.
  • Crib Mattress Cover
This Newton mattress cover is waterproof and provides an extra layer of protection. It is machine washable.
  • Crib Sheets
These are 100% cotton, breathable, and cute!
  • Sleep Sack
My baby loves this Halo sleep sack and cannot sleep with out it! It is not too thin or thick, it’s perfect! He is currently wearing this one now.
  • Sleep Sack & Swaddle Combo
This is another great option that I loved. This one is the Halo 3-Way adjustable wearable sack. I recommend the Happiest Baby Sleepea swaddle during the newborn stage, but once baby starts rolling over, this is a great transition sack.
  • Portable Crib
Great for trips and packs up small.
  • Portable Sound Machine
Has great sound and a good battery life.
  • Baby Monitor
Clear picture with great features. Also has a good battery life.

Bath Stuff

Bathing a baby can get chaotic is the best way possible. These Items helped us so much

Sickness and Health

  • Frida Baby NoseFrida
This is by far better than the bulb that you see at the hospital. It is much easier to use and it works like a charm!
  • Frida Baby Thermometer
    This is a must!
  • Electric Nail File
I refused to use clippers so this was on the top of my list.
  • Frida Baby Gas Passer
You never know if and when you might need this. Good to have on standby!
  • BioGala Probiotic
We had to use this when my son got the stomach bug. It was recommended by his doctor and it made such a difference. I highly recommend.

Changing Stuff

  • Diapers
After trying many different kinds, Honest diapers have proven to be the best for us.
  • Wipes
Again, Honest wipes are wonderful! Very thick, which I love.
  • Keekaroo Peanut Changer
This is super easy to clean and also very comfortable for baby. I would put a cloth changing pad on top so it is not cold on babies back.
  • Diaper Pail
Has great oder control and looks nice in nursery.
  • Diaper Caddy
This is a MUST! I bought one for each room and used them all. Such a great resource to have so all the necessities are within reach! I would have diapers, wipes, changing pad, and an extra outfit.
  • Diaper Cream
Contains zinc oxide and works really well!
  • Portable changing Pad
Great for on the go changes! This other changing pad also works well.
  • Diaper Bag
Such a functional bag with multiple pockets and storage. It has the functionality to be a tote or a backpack! Plus, it is cute!

Baby Gear

  • Car & Stroller Combo
What drew me to the Graco Modes Nest Travel System was the reviews and price. This has been such a great investment.
  • Car Seat
We currently use the Graco SlimFit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat. Love the price compared to other out there and is well known for its safety and durability.
  • Jogging Stroller
Just got the Jeep Classic Jogging Stroller by Delta Children and I am loving it so far.
  • Baby Carrier
The Wild Bird carrier is durable and it is very cute. I get so many compliments on this!
  • Solly Baby Carrier
I LOVED mine. Baby wearing is the best. So many great prints and colors to choose from.
  • Baby Swing
Maxi-Cosi Cassia Baby Swing is very aesthetic and durable. Has built in lullabies and a great battery life. It also plugs in the wall.
  • Baby Mat
The LOVEVERY play mat is the best. It is so cute and comes with many toys that encourages baby development. My son loves his.
  • Baby Lounger
This was a life changer in the first weeks. It provided a safe place for naps. I personally used the Snuggle Me Organic, but this one is a fraction of the cost and works the same.
  • High Chair
The Dream On Me Portable 2-in-1 is comfortable and durable! These spoons are great for when your baby starts solids!

Baby Clothes & Assessories

My baby lived in sleepers in the beginning.

  • Baby Mittens
My baby was continuously scratching his face. Had to end up buying these after he was born.
  • Baby Comb
Not necessary but it is super cute!

Bibs, Pacifiers, and Teethers

  • Bibs
So needed and so cute. Has held up so well with many washes. They are 100% cotton
  • Burp Cloth’s
Again, so needed and are great quality made of 100% cotton.
  • Pacifiers
My baby only took a pacifier for a short time and this is the only one he would use. These pacifier cases and clips were great to have as well.
  • Teether
    Cute and works great!

Postpartum Care

That is ALL! Wow, it doesn’t seem like a lot until it is all listed out.

Everything on this list is not necessary, but I wanted to provide all the items that that worked and that we actually used. I hope this is helpful for you.

So, now you are off to a great start! You have SO much to look forward too.
