6 Verses For When God Feels Silent
There are seasons in life when God feels distant—when our prayers seem to go unanswered and His presence feels just out of reach.
I have so often found myself wondering if God hears my prayers. In a season where hard times arise, it can be so easy to question God. So quickly I can forget that he is King of this world and His love for me is beyond my understanding.
It is not God who is distant, he never leaves nor forsakes us. It is me who is distant—God never moved.
Still knowing this, it is so hard to fall back into the feeling of loneliness. Often, God is working in ways we can’t yet see. His plan is going to prevail and he has wonderful plans for your life. All we need to do is to be still and put our trust in him.
When God feels silent, these 6 Bible verses always offer encouragement and hope to me. I hope that this reminder will comfort you and provide you with encouragement and hope when you feel alone.
